About Dr. Randy

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Randy has been dedicated to providing counseling services across diverse settings, spanning local and international landscapes. His expertise extends to conducting seminars and workshops within academic institutions, corporate environments, community groups, and religious congregations, where he also served as a pastor for 11 years.

Dr. Randy's commitment to community well-being is evident through his organization and facilitation of specialized support and recovery groups, as well as his active involvement in committees aimed at promoting health and wellness. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise as a Human Resources consultant for an international organization.

Specializing in individual, family, marriage/couples, and career counseling, Dr. Randy holds certifications as an EMDR Level 2 provider and in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). His comprehensive training and experience encompass various areas including career development, stress management, anxiety, depression, anger management, abuse, PTSD, grief and loss, communication, parenting, self-esteem, cross-cultural issues, and DSM-V disorders assessment.

Dr. Randy's dedication to community service extends to his involvement in advisory boards and committees for esteemed organizations such as the Calgary Dream Centre, Focus on the Family, and Suicide Prevention initiatives, among others. He has also served as the Past President of the Alberta Education Counsellors Association and is the visionary behind ACCEPT (Anxiety Support & Recovery), which he founded and directs.

In addition to his professional training in Counselling Psychology, Dr. Johnson pursued studies at Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri, Central Pentecostal College in Saskatoon, and the Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina. He is a licensed minister in the province of Alberta.
